Curaçao
Rapidly after Fred returned from Spain in 1982, where he lived for almost 10 years the desire to do something with his youth memories from Curaçao arose. It would take till 1990 to make his dream reality. The mother of the girlfriend of a cousin by marriage turned out to be a picture-framer on Curaçao and well known with Gallery Eighty Six. That’s how the first contact occurred and many successful exhibitions followed, first at Gallery Eighty Six and later at Gallery Alma Blou.
